As part of its ongoing training program aimed at developing the capabilities of professionals working in the hotel industry, the Jordan Hotels Association organized a short training course entitled “Leadership Fundamentals in the Hotel Sector,” with the participation of employees from hotel establishments in Amman representing various hotel departments.
The course focused on the concept of leadership within the hotel work environment and its role in guiding teams and fostering cohesion among team members. It also addressed the enhancement of communication, motivation, and decision-making skills, as well as effective approaches to managing situations and challenges that work teams may encounter within the sector.
The program further explored a range of leadership practices that contribute to improving employee performance and strengthening collaboration within teams, while emphasizing the importance of building a positive work environment that is reflected in operational efficiency and the quality of services provided to guests.
The course witnessed active engagement from participants through discussions and the exchange of experiences and practical insights. Participants also examined a number of situations encountered in their workplaces and discussed appropriate methods for addressing them from a leadership perspective.
This course forms part of the Jordan Hotels Association’s series of training programs designed in response to the needs of hotel establishments and their employees, with the aim of supporting professional development and enhancing managerial and leadership skills, thereby contributing to the advancement of workforce performance and the continuous improvement of service standards across the hotel sector.
